Qualifying transactions must post and clear during the qualification cycle. The qualification cycle means a period beginning one business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. Debit card purchase means any PIN or signature based transaction performed at any location other than an ATM. Transactions may take more than three business days to post and clear from the transaction date. Intra-bank transfers do not count as qualifying transactions. If qualifications are met during the qualification cycle, then the account holder will receive the higher rate and ATM refunds on cycle date, the next business day. If not, the account holder will receive a base interest rate. The qualification cycle will end on the second Tuesday of each month.  The statement will cycle on the following Wednesday.
