Arvel D. Gann, Sr.

          Arvel Douglas Gann, Sr., disabled veteran, died 30 July 2002 at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas where he had been a patient for 23 days.    He was 85 years of age and died following a brief illness... .. .
         Internment was in San Hall Cemetery in Jackson County, Arkansas.
        Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Pauline Morrison Gann; two sons: Elton and Arvel Douglas, Jr. and three daughters: Delia Ann, Anna Sue and Barbara.
        He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, A. G.
