                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Virgil  Scott was born in 1893 and died in 1977.    He served in the Army during World War I.    He is buried in Harris Chapel Cemetery, near Wynne, Arkansas.

            The above information was taken from his military headstone.    The Cross County Veterans Memorial Committee would appreciate hearing from anyone who has information concerning his family or his military career.
